I am looking for info about the construction of the swivel mounting for the Gee indicator that is fixed to the Navs. side of the wireless panel.Was the “baseplate” made of wood or steel?.
Note the phrase “baseplate” That is NOT the sub mount which is carried on anti vib. mounts.

I’m confused. What type of aircraft are you referring to? I serviced Beverley’s in which the Navigator had the Gee(3) and the Wireless Op had other equipment at his own station.
