Wish List

All the speculation about what is to be ‘the star of the show’ at this years Flying Legends, got me wondering ,if you could have any
warbird(s) (wether one now exists or not) What would they be?

I would like to see:
P-61 Blackwidow
Westland Whirlwind (not the chopper of cause)
Mosquito
Hornet
Wellington
Along with the B25, A26,and Blenhiem all in a nice and noisy ‘hairstandingonthebackofyourneck’ twin engine balbo 🙂

Vulcan

The standard V-bomber scramble was four aircraft.
This one was on approach to Cottesmore (where I worked in the control tower in the Victor B.1 era) around 1970.

i
1..to have seen and heard a EE Lightning in the air.. though i can just remember them being in service.. i never had the pleasure of seeing one.

OK so they will not actually be in the air on the 8th of July but go down to LPG at Brunty to feel the awesome afterburning power of their two beauties 😀

RE: Wish List

Now here’s a real wish list:

The Flying A Services fleet, actually I think a squadron of Typhoons may be more realistic, but you never know.

RE: Wish List

Republic XF12 Rainbow would look nice with your XF11.

How about a Bachem Natter? }>

Seriously, I would love to see the MB5. Is it REALLY gone? :'(

RE: Wish List

Leg-ends has quite enough content as it is, and it’s about time some of it was sent elsewhere in the damn country! The whole world doesn’t revolve around Duxford you know!

But to answer the question…

Fifteen Lancasters, and a Vulcan for luck, ta!
