Maybe I’m wrong but didn’t EUJet in its death throes code share with Wizz Air on a Route from Manston to somewhere in Poland. Wizz Air already fly to Luton and Liverpool in the UK as well . Maybe Manston could rise again. Sure hope so.

If they were to go to Manston or Prestwick i’m almost certain it would be Prestwick but I really doubt either will happen in the immediate future

Imagine Wizz may expand from Lubeck to WAW, BUD and Katowice in the future

Thanx for the welcome Wozza, I’m no expert on Wizz Air but I see that thier CEO says that they already operate into Franfurt-Hahn and Dortmund . Lubeck now means that they also serve the north of Germany.they will be operating 4 flights perweek to start with.
The airport operator says that they look forward to …..sucessful relationship …not just Lubeck … other airports in thier group . This can only mean Prestwick or Manston.Teesee
be so cool if it is Manston we need passager service flying again.

Lubeck is the loco airport for Hamburg, like Prestwick for Glasgow.

Hi,
Noticed its your first post – welcome to the forum,
Anyone care to tell me where Lubeck is, i’ve heard of it but forgotten where it is,
great to see some expansion from Wizz – superb LCC
EDIT – How many a/c do they have now, their website claimst they have 6 but it has done since I can remember – located Lubeck to be in North Germany – strange how they didnt use Hamburg or somewhere big(ger)
