You are correct it was not the one photographed. It was G-ARAZ. Photo below shows her landing after making the call:

I think a lot of people were put off by either the weather or the £15 pp entrance charge! 🙁
I love the event and have never missed a Woburn gathering, but the pricing policy for ground entry levied by the host site is now beyond a joke and certainly soured my day.

So it made an emergency landing while flying from Woburn (if I understand correctly).
I think I know who the pilot was, the former Belgian owner as I saw him landing at Headcorn sunday evening.
Ollie was meaning earlier on in the year at Old Warden when it happened.

It’s OO-TMW based at Headcorn since three of four months. (the one in the first picture)
Do you have more info on that emergency landing?
Not realy, she took off carrying a passenger down the log runway and climbed out to about 2,000 feet. By that time my atention had been drawn away to something else taking off. The guy who was standing next to me, it was his daughter flying in her asked me if it was normal for an aeroplane to circle out towards Biggleswade. To which i looked up and said no.
This went on for a few minuites and i was starting to think something was up. At that point i looked away to photograph something else taking off and turned around and she was lining up on aproach and at that point i picked up the Mayday call and started to run down to the clear space where the fire truck was heading for. The kids dad was not far behind me. I got there as she rolled to a stop and i think the pilot mentioned it was something to do with the oil when i asked him.
O and the kid did get nother flight later that day. And the Tiger Moth did fly home later that day.

Was it at Old Warden for the charity event this year? If it is this one i am thinking of, it made an emergancy landing due to engine problems.
