“A woman returning her rented car to an airport drop-off point – drove the vehicle through a terminal building.
The woman was trying to drop the car at the office at Boise Airport in the US state of Idaho.
The Idaho Statesman says the “confused senior citizen” followed a sign for terminal access.
It’s reported she drove the car through a set of automatic opening double-doors, through the terminal and past the baggage claim area.
Airport spokeswoman Larissa Stouffer said the woman stopped when she reached the rental-car counter.
“The lucky thing is she didn’t hit anything,” Stouffer said.
There was no damage to the terminal building, nobody was hurt and the woman wasn’t prosecuted.”

A similar thing happened in the main street of my town a couple of years back
An elderly lady while angle parking her car, stepped on the gas instead of the brake and drove straight through the front window of a lingerie shop, so they had a sign up the next morning, “SALE” our underwear has genuine skid marks
