Despite what some may say, Woburn was a fanatastic show of good old Dehaviland magic. These are just a few of the many pictures I took, and I will definatly go back next year.

Very nice pics. The missus had stole the digibox, so I was back to coal fired camera. Pictures in a month or so then.
Thanks for sharing Darren.

A little Bucker
Sunday’s display wasn’t a huge affair this year – in fact quite slim. In no real order as I can’t quite remember it with out the programme as reference and that’s at home.
They flew a 6 ship formation in tribute as usual
G-AKPF/V1075 Miles Hawk Trainer III, G-ADWT Miles Hawk and G-AFAX BA Eagle II flew a tail chase.
Then G-ADGP Hawk Speed Six flew a solo display. (would have been nce to have seen all three Miles Hawk in formation.
There was a Chipmunk aero competition…
… and a Tiger Moth one which featured G-AGEG flown and won I believe by someone not too far from here…
There was also Captain Neville’s Flying Circus with Tiger Moths, Jackeroo G-ANZT and a couple of Chipmunks (including G-BCGC/WP903) that flew a balloon bursting then a double limbo and finally an egg(?) drop routine.
Also flown were G-ECAN the Dragon as the guess the height aircraft and Dragonfly G-AEDU flew a lovely display too.
G-ACDA flew a girl on the wing routine too.
All aircraft except G-AFAX and G-ADGP flew from Woburn. These two flew in for the display and departed without landing.
Hope that is of some help.

Tony A,
Fantabulous indeed. I often appear like the first shot in my better crazy flying routines. Thank you so much.

Is EG trying to pretend it’s a Seafire? 😉
Super photos — thanks guys. I went to Woburn on the Sunday and dragged the folks along, we all enjoyed it. Nice to have the vintage cars there too, if Moths can’t hold your attention for a whole day 🙂
The rain held off fortunately, although the wind was a bit cross towards the end of the day.
I’d carefully contrived to leave myself with one roll of film for Sunday, having used up all the others at Shuttleworth the day before. Must … go … digital …

Darren,
Did you manage to capture G-AGEG by any chance?

Liked the tuft of grass on the Jackaroo’s tail skid!

Lovely photos there. Looking at the landing direction they were Saturday?
OAW
Yes they were on Saturday, although they did swap round at one point and then revert back to the original landing direction.
