It parted my hair in Brentwood at approx 13:30, really low & impressive, I think he was trying to avoid the enemy radar 😀

We must be in close proximity to each other Vic as the BBMF lanc overflew my place at about that time. Low and uber cool.:cool: Everytime I see it, it rteminds me of the flying hours I have in her….I was a very lucky boy.:D

Wouldnt it be wonderful to be able to say ‘A lancaster flew over’ and have a meaningful discussion about which one it might have been.
That would be great indeed. Maybe we will ever achieve this. If people start to rebuild such aircraft with only a little bit of original material. There were times that there was also only one Spitfire, Hurricane, Mustang etc. available for surprise attacks. Let’s keep positive.

That’s good news. I saw it at Biggin on Monday when I flew in to collect an aircraft. All the covers were on as it had gone “tech” at the show over the weekend.
