The event has now finished so i will have to find something else on the box to occupy myself , Again the Americans dominated with 10 Gold & Russia a close second with 6 Gold….amazing for Russia to still be up there and compete with the only Superpower, its training athletes and people still amaze us to this day.

I missed the 4×100 final, as I was at Gransden, but I heard we’d got silver. Darren Campbell got bronze in the 100m, Kelly Holmes got silver in something I think, and I’ll take your word for it on Backley. Other than that, we’re cr@p. 😀 We haven’t even got good old Stevie Redgrave any more… 🙁

I saw the Mens 4x100m and the way the Yank JJ Johnson caught up to Dwaaaaaaain Chambers it’s as if the ground Dwaaaaain was running on just stopped like the Heathrow conveyer belt! 🙁

Not very well. Even our fantastic-bloke-who-jumps-a-long-way-into-a-sandpit didn’t do the business.
