World Cup

Well, the World Cup is almost upon us yet again, but compared to previous tournaments there seems a lack of interest in England. No St.George’s flags on cars, few posters in windows, and none of tne usual hype about this being England’s year at last. Personally that suits me fine, as I have little real interest in the bunch of over-paid, under-achieving players who make up the England team nowadays, and resent my town centre being turned into a no-go area when they inevitably go out of the competition and the yobs see that as justification for going on a near riot. Be interesting to see if the England players obey that instruction to sing the National Anthem properly, though. Thoughts?
