Worth the wait/what Vulc Stuff Do You have?

Remembered why the Vulcan was so bloomin wonderful whilst watching it in awe at Farnborough today. There were quite a few joeP’s outside the wire, many families there just to see the Vulc…..a couple of pix below…..got me thinking what Vulc stuff do we have? To get the ball rolling I have a windscreen and a few stick grips.

I’ve got the second pilot seat from XH534 (and a poster of same) as well as some small to large fragments of XH536 which had a nasty cloud/hill accident in south wales. Would love a stick…

Lets see…

About 6 control grips (both B.1 and B.2)…

Full set of B.2 (Blue Steel Fit) main flying panels (eng panel from XM571)
B.2 Throttle Box
B.2 Instrument Panel Coaming
all P1 side panels inc. PFC Start Panel, Engine start box, bombing panel…
all P2 side panels inc refueling, cabin pressurisation etc
AEO aircraft systems panels inc, AAPP, CSDU…
Some Nav Radar panels and some Blue Steel fit Nav gear

a pair of fully kitted 3KS (3KS1 and 3KS2) Martin Baker ejection seats, the P2 seat out of XM571

Oh, and the Bomb Aimers Blister and fin passive ECM radome from XM571

The very spooky thing is that Air Commodore John Pack (rtd) is a good friend, and the P2 seat out of XM571 is the very seat he flew the aircraft on it’s final flight into ‘Gib’; he was the guest VIP and as he was current on Vulcans, he flew it in, in formation with a couple of Buccs…. 😎

I am lucky enough to have been a volunteer with the old British Aviation Heritege group and have the privilege of being ground crew during 558’s fast taxi days at brunty. The memory of the last run in 99 will stay with me forever (as will the resulting hearing loss).
