As has already been mentioned, the weather during the morning was a bit pants. I managed to reach the FOD enclosure just as the monsoon started at 13.30. After all these years, it was the first time I had been in there. Nice location but a bit limiting on photography. Came away with plenty of side views but only stayed there for the big tent in case it rained again. Many thanks to Kev (Kokpit) for the lift and Hi to Tim and Barry who I used to work with at Finningley, when the RAF were in charge, and met on the flight line walk.
Having seen it on static before, it was the first time I had seen ‘Miss Demeanour’ display. Was well impressed with the DC-3/C-47 routine, from the synchronised start up and mass take off to formation flying over the Cambridgeshire countryside. BBMF Dak next year for a 4 ship anyone?

Great pics Brian. I like the Hunter. I think the landing shot must have been from Saturday when the Hunter was arriving.

Duxford Sunday
Some great shots Brian, like the Nimrod with Easy Jet background and the multi colour Hunter shots are great – thank goodness for the likes of Jonathan Whaley -last week his delightful and sensitive displays in the Mk 1A Spit at Shorham to the contrast of his Hunter display
Cheers

Good photos. I was there and yes to see 3 ‘Gooney Birds’ together at Duxford and in the air was something that took me back to Air Ceylon days as they had 3 or 4 and they sometimes would be in the sky together but never in formation.
I have done the right seat in a DC3 and they are a ‘bummer’ to trim if passengers walk about (as they do). Pity none of the ones seen are permitted passengers due to the new rules.
I agree maybe we shall see 4 together soon.
Those alive who can remember the Berlin Airlift will feel nostalgic.
