would love to hear from JP MACAW pilots

I live in the states I am a 40 year old commercial pilot with 6000 hours in jets and looking at buying a JP Mk4 I have found one the XR701 which I beleive was a former Macaw. My partner and I are looking to buy this and bring it back to life as a tribute as it were to the Macaws and other RAF aerial teams. I see several former RAF pilots and team pilots post here and would love to hear from them. I would like to see if they remember the routines, manuvers and real crowd pleasers as I too will try to fly the same show…solo of course. Although I am 10+ years younger than the plane I don’t know if its my Scotish heritage or what but I don’t have so much fun flying for the airlines as much as I do listening to the old timers who really got me interested in flying all those years ago. Maybe doing a few shows will allow me to meet all the guys like you who I admire so much as pilots and my inspiration. Some great photos would be excellent. I also have questions about the repainting.

Cheers
Mark (Scottish as heart)

It would be worth posting this over on the pprune forum, as that’s where a lot of ex and current RAF pilots post, so someone will bound to be able to give you some usefull info.
