HI everyone…I am new to this site. There are a group of guys based in South Africa and more specificly in a town called East London (http://www.eastlondonsa.com/) that collect old vintage aircraft. I am one of them. We recently purchased a Chipmunk WP810 or registration ZS-URC..She used to be G-BBWL in the uk.
I am wanting to research her history and see what I can find. Does anybody have some info or pics for me.???

Brief history:
24 RFS, 17 RFS, 11 RFS, Aberdeen UAS, 12 AEF and then ULAS. Sold 17 January 1974. No dates though I’m afraid.
If you get in touch with the RAF Museum at Hendon, you should be able to get a copy of the Aircraft Movement Record Card. That will give you all the dates.

Got some shots of her from when I flew her in ULAS days 69-72 including air-to-air and cockpit. In touch off-line on that one.
