WW2 Fairing ID

Hi All,

Trying to ID this part and find out what aircraft it may belong to. It is very strange in that it is fairing shaped at one end and then it turns 90 degrees at the back. It has traces of OD Green on the top, a large heat treatment stamp and the number 90 followed by an L (See pictures). Came from the pacific area. It maybe part of a fuel tank or cannon fairing, rear canopy area but am unsure. Anyone recognize it?

Thanks

Pointless question without dimensions, or something to scale it by.

I have no idea but I am guessing sizes will help others with a possible id.
