I have a small number of WW2 instruments that I would like to dispose of. I am aware of their radioactivity and a number of them will probably go to a UK museum with appropriate license etc. Before the remainder are disposed of by a contractor as ra waste, is anyone likely to be interested? I can of course forward photos etc.

619,
Not sure where you are based but we at Bottisham Airfield museum might be interested – depending on what the instruments are.
Many thanks
Jason

Just to add my tupence, the post office now has the ability to detect and stop radio active material from being sent through yh postal system, this includes aircraft instruments (it also features on their prohibited items list), therefore your kind jesture will probably have to imvolve ‘collect in person’. I say this only to save you a lot of hassle of items not reaching their destinations. Good luck.
