Hi all , i would like to share with you my latest item for my collection , a ww2 era plywood drop tank made by Victorian & interstate airways , i am looking for any more information on these tanks and what aircraft they were used on .
The company itself from what i could find on the web made plywood parts for the Australian aircraft industry during ww2 .
The tank itself has had the boat treatment but is otherwise in excellent condition , is of plywood construction with framed and fabric doped streamlined ends .
