WW2 Propellor identification – help?

Hi there,
I’ve come across this prop and would be love to know what type of aircraft it might have come from. It’s about 250 cm in diameter. The markings are pretty clear in the photograph but here they are again:
TF NIL-1200x
DA902
RS D.4956
D65004
Prop no. 88533
It’s spent its life not far from Hucknall airfield in Notts, so there may be some connection!
Any help would be gratefully appreciated. It’s in fairly good nick, bar one tip which is a bit ‘worn’

Thanks. Dave

Hi there, bigdave2,

I might just be interested. Can you PM me the cost and location, please?

Would make a nice display item alongside my Anson Mk.XIX restoration project (G-AGPG).

Cheers,

Anon.

Great – thanks Gents.

Anyone in need of this for a restoration project, etc? It’s too big for my wall and it’s a shame to consign it to a shed!

I agree, Anson looks the same as the one I have.

Dave -it looks pretty much like a late mk Avro Anson prop.
