WW2 Veteran Pilot Reunited with one of his aircraft

Hi everyone.

We had a very special event at the Australian National Aviation Museum this week. Thanks to member Keith Webb for making it happen, 94 year old Murray Adams was reunited with one of his old aircraft – the CAC Wirraway A20-10 which resides at the Museum.

It was a fantastic day, and Murray was in fine form and clearly pleased to see the aircraft again – first time he had done so since 1941 when he flew it five times at Wagga.

I have put an account of the events up on our Facebook page and also the Museum Website

What a great way to honour a veteran!
Murray really looks like he enjoyed his day-so 10/10 to those who organised it for him 🙂
