WW2 Wilmot Mansour rocket powered target drone (orange!)

Dear all,

I recently picked up a WW2 Wilmot-Mansour rocket powered target drone for the Museum- those of you who collect stuff will probably have seen the odd one at aerojumbles – it fits in nicely with the Museum’s ordnance collection (being a drone) and will be installed shortly.

I wonder if anyone else has one, mine is boxed but has no instructions, not official nomenclature – i imagine it would have had an official name ‘Target, Drone, Rocket Powered MK1’ or whatever, but does anyone actually know what its designation was. Further was any AP or ‘instructions’ issued for it?

Has anyone got any more gen?
