WWII – RAF bomb fusing unit query

Hello, has anyone perhaps got an RAF bomb fusing unit of 1941/42 vintage in their collection or even a decent photo of one? I imagine their were a number of different types although the one I am interested in would be suitable for a fighter installation. From the scant info I have now it appears to be around 3 or 4″ square and probably less than an inch wide.

Any help gratefully received please 🙂

Mark V – Roger Marley also has a load of these new and boxed. I bought a full set off him for the Whitley about a year ago.

If you want a pic please drop me an email and i’ll send you one.

Regards
Elliott

Your description sounds like a standard fusing unit of Types A, B, C, D or E.

I have a few Type C, Ref. 5D/927. They were the type fitted to the bomb carriers of Hawker Typhoons, for example, so are probably the exact thing you are looking for.

P.M. me if you want one.
