Does anyone know the latest position regarding Delta Lady. Things have gone very quiet regarding funding and the position re her getting back into the air. I suppose the longer this drags out the more unlikely it is she will ever fly again. Views apprciated.

Open Letter to Felicity & Robert – placed on the VTTS Guestbook earlier this evening: –
Felicity,
We would love to. We’ve been trying to help XH558 for more than two years now – but seem to be scuppered at every single turn.
We’ve made cash donations and have even pledged more money recently. Why is this proving so difficult?
I have asked you, and Robert, repeatedly to place a specific type of hyperlink from your website to ours so that we can help you generate further income, but nothing has ever happened. Even though you repeatedly agree that you would like us to be involved.
We got a sentence in a recent news letter, consisting of our name, but not giving any detail about how anyone could reach us – or even what we are about.
Now I see that news letters are not even being sent by email (at least, we’ve never received ours – even though I keep subscribing on-line).
We’ve even offered to help keep the website up to date – especially since you lost your last webmaster.
I understand you are both busy, and there is a lot of work that must be done – but we cannot help you unless someone invests a few moments to help us, help you.
We have time and skills to offer The Vulcan to the Sky Campaign, free of charge.
You have all the information you need in emails to you, Robert & webmaster.

It may have gone quiet, but a great deal is progressing in the background. Robert Pleming gave an update to the Milton Keynes Aviation Society in May, and it is looking very good. Equipment is now going out to system suppliers for overhaul, and they are moving steadily towards the additional funding needed to unlock the lottery allocation.
The target is for first flight 18 months after the major overhaul commences, which may be quite soon now.
As ever, the more people who pledge their financial support, the sooner it will happen!
