Call me paranoid if you like but I’m just wondering, as the RAF Waddington Airshow approaches, if there is something going on behind the scenes. The aircraft is expected to perform a display practice in the week before the event, but it cannot perform in front of the public over the weekend until it has its permit to fly and the OK to display. Would I be right to have suspicions if neither of these were given in time for Waddington but miraculously did a few days afterwards so that the aircraft could make its display debut at RIAT? I hope this doesn’t turn out to be the case – after all Waddington is the aircraft’s spiritual home!

The aim is to display at Waddington, if she dosnt make it then its down to permits, display auths etc. Waddo is a biggy and not a show T.V.O.C want (or can afford) to miss! If you cant wait that long then hanging around a field in leicestershire on monday could be a good idea!
