Went past XM603 at woodford today and noticed that the radome had been put back into position after lying next to it for a while. I was just wondering if anyone knows why, if its fate to the scrapman is sealed, was the nose put back on?
Also, with XM602 cockpit section at Bruntingthorpe now, are there any plans for it to return to Woodford or will it be staying there as part of the collection?
From a distance 603 still looks brilliant in her anti-flash white.

Yes TVOC have control of 603 now. The cockpit will move to Brunty, the rest of the usable spares which TVOC don’t need will go to other Vulcan owners. BAe have a job too for the hulk once she has been completely recovered of usable parts. Best ask TVOC for the complete story

As rumours go, seems the TVOC now has control over 603 and her near future fate, my guess would be they will liberate what spares they can as and when they have time, Remove the Cockpit at the construction joint and sell that on and the rest will be chopped up and the proceeds put too good use keeping 558 going, dunno how much a Vulcan as scrap would be worth but would say it’s a fair amount.
Sadly the end for 603 was sealed a long time ago and was and is inevitable unless someone with very large amount of money steps up to move her to a safe location.
