thank you
hi russell it was a privalage to have been thair, and the free hand you let me have with the old gal, sitting in the seat was mind boggeling how john knew what went whair and how was amazing i tried to take in all he told me about the cockpit but although he took the time and explained everything, im affraid i have forgoten most of it, but a very informative guy as were all your team, i would love to come back on the 25 if that is ok with you, to see her moving under her own power and fast taxi would be a dream come true being so up close and personal, will it be “our very own dennis” at the controls?
and if darren is thair im sure their will be some much better photos than i took, thanks again for a wonderfull full day, and lets hope more people take up your offer of joining you on the 25th April
all the best to you and your team

unusual pictures of 458
I would like to thank Russell Carpenter for inviting me along to Cranfield to spend the day with 458 and crew while running engine no2, she burst into life instantly the button was pushed, and was run up into reheat in the picture of the jet pipes if you look carefully you can actually see the dimonds even although it was a bright sunny day, she sounded brilliant and performed flawlessley, a credit to all involved, also the revamp of the firestreaks really sets her off,and i would urge anyone who wants to experiance this wonderfull Tbird up close to get in contact with russell, a truly memorable day, once again thank you so much:D
