Ya boo sucks

Got the latest Flypast today.. For you Spitfire fans the news ‘of possibles’ going to Airframe Assembles will make you pant… Not sure how to read the story but I counted 4 or 5!

However, there is a brief news report of the P-39 recoverey from Russia. It is called ‘substantial wreckage’ now I have seen photos of her and no way could you call her ‘substantial wreckage’, more like ‘almost complete’..

Is this a bit of sour grapes because the other mag got the exclusive?

Actually, I understand the P39 looks great from a distance……..

That may be so, and I have no doubt that a lot of time and £/$ will be needed to restore her..

But could you call that ‘substantial wreckage’?

I reckon the RAF Museum Hampden could be called ‘substantial wreckage’ but not the P-39
