YAK11 Restoration In Progress.

I’ve been rebuilding my YakC11 for more than a year now and fuselage is well under way. Just finishing pneumatic system while keeping most original parts except aluminium tubes for new ones.
Now deciding which way going with accumulators (in fact converting Oxygen tanks into air tanks).

nuts you saw on the picture concerning the spar are not what stayed on the aircraft, they were all replaced by brand new Airbus sub-contractor made,

Doesn’t look as though it ever had one…..how about the plain nuts as well as having 1 1/2 threads safety?

Yak 11 right wing work in progress, the yak11 spar is just huge !! no corrosion found, just changing wingtip and flap, anti corrosion with Dinitrol AV30 ,
