Yemen to Buy Six More MiG-29s

Yemen’s president said Wednesday that his country is planning to buy six
MiG-29 fighter-bombers from Russia, adding to another six already ordered,
after viewing an exhibition of the warplanes outside Moscow.

Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh also told reporters at the air show in
Zhukovsky that his military is considering the purchase of Russian Kamov
helicopter gun-ships and further development of bilateral military
cooperation.
