Yeovilton aerojumble

Many years ago (1983?) at the Yeovilton aerojumble i saw a Fairey Firefly ,observers cockpit, canopy frame (rear section).
But because i was still at school at the time i didnt have much money & so i couldnt afford it.

My question is does anyone know what happend to it???

Also whilst on the subject ,does anyone have any Firefly parts ?good home waiting.

cheers

Similarly, I remember…

… a Yeovilton aerojumble around that time at which there was a Cheetah engine, I imagine from an Anson, sitting on a Trailer. It seemed a bit bashed around the edges but surprisingly good. Does anyone know of that or its origins please?

Could it be the one that was / is owned by Colin Waterworth ?

Colin used to be a regular attendee with us all those years ago….

Don’t recall it either.

Being Yeovilton though, might someone have bought it on behalf of the Museum as a spare? Or the Historic Flight?

Were you really at school in 1983?

Ahhh, bless!

It would have been at pocket money prices in those days to. I loved Yeovilton aerojumble. Didn’t buy any Firefly bits though, sorry.
