Found my stash of photos from Yeovilton air day, just after the Falklands on the 31st July 1982.
Sea Harrier XZ460 ‘Black 26’ – I seem to remember she had three kill markings somewhere…
Enemy fire damage to Wessex HAS3 XP142 ‘Humphrey’…
Some hangar shots…

I remember that show well. I had a couple of very similar photos of the Sea Harriers in the hangar very carefully joined together with tape that eventually went yellow! Also i can remember a Shackleton parked opposite? My Friend remarked ‘look at the sparkplug on top of that!’ Happy days, thanks for showing.

Does anyone know if any of the Harriers with ‘kills’ have made it into or are earmarked for preservation?

I remember seeing the Pucara on it’s way to Yeovilton slung under a Chinook, lovely set of photos and that’s exactly how I remember Yeovilton in the 80s, Harriers, more Harriers and even more Harriers. Thank you for sharing such great photos.
