Yeovilton airshow crash German F111 ????

Hello
Does anybody known of a crash at this airshow in years gone by of a German Plane ?
Was a F111 so the story goes.
I for one did known the Germans used F111 .
I also do know of any crash at this airshow.
Any help please me on this.

‘Mt First Airshow Crash’ was about 1981, at Culdrose, when a little Beaver flipped into the ground, killing the pilot I think. Anyone got anything archival on that?

I was there too – strong crosswinds were the cause. Oh and it was 1983.
Pilot was Major Bill Smithson and the a/c XP811.

I was there to when in the ATC. Tragic site seeing it happen infront of everyone.

I was only 8 when this accident happened, still remember it now, it was the first big crash I have witnessed, unfortunately, it was not to be my last. 🙁

F104 crash

I was there. 1979. G-loc during break to land post display . Pulled it straight into the ground.

It was 1974, a German Starfighter crashed on approach after the display.
