Just a few images from me. I do like the orangey F16. I left before the Vulcan came in but I have seen it quite a few times now.
Because of the great line up, I was going back tomorrow but inside the show ground. However, the weather effect has put me off so it will probably be Legends for me instead. I will finally decide tomorrow morning whether to turn left or right at the end of the road.
I hope for anybody who is going that the rain holds off.
Someone has allegedly said the Sea Vixen will be flying with the Vulcan tomorrow. In fact it would turn out quite logical for the orange F16 to join in too as a return favour. Please do not shoot the messenger if this turns out not to be.
Have a good day.
Cheers
Martin

Hi
Thank you for your nice comments. I used a 500mm fixed focal leng lens for most of he shots, hence the perspective. I knew the Rafale was close to the end of the runway but not that close.
Very much looking foward to Eastbourne.
I would like to post more shots but I still have Legends Sat/Sun pics to go through. 🙂
Cheers

Well…. what can i say…. i’ve seen more airborne metal in these photo’s than the whole actual airsho.

One kit trader, no book traders, usual overpriced food, and i can count the fixed wing aircraft that got airborne on one hand 😮
In a word… CRAP

Nice selection of pics.
I can’t get my head around the perspective in the last Rafale shot. It appears that the a/c has dropped in just over the fence only a few yards from the onlookers.
That’s exactly what did happen! He only just made it and was inches away from landing on the grass…must have thought he was landing on a carrier!
Here’s my shot of it….

Love that last photo, is the Rafale really as big as it looks in that pic?? Or are the people just midgets??
