Yeovilton Photo Call Day

Off to the above event tomorrow ,photos to be posted here sometime over the weekend, but was wondering if anybody knows the radio frequencies for arriving aircraft in advance.

This has been a problem ever since the move to a September date – just not enough daylight left to do the job properly.

We have complained about this before, charging to go into a photocall at 1700 in September is ridiculous! How about suggesting to them that it’s moved to May or June, so there is plenty of daylight and it doesn’t clash with RIAT or Farnborough? :rolleyes:

As promised a few images from the Photocall Day held on Friday.

Not a bad day, shame the wind was not blowing from the opposite direction so that aircraft were landing in front of you and not at the far end of the runway to where we were.

A bit longer to look around the static at the end of the day would have been nice too.
