2 as of tomorrow – TF-ELM returns to lesser with Electra G-LOFE operating 3rd aircrafts mailers.
Then when G-CELR is back from check, TF-ELO goes for it’s!
Do you know what the score is with GSM next summer from EDI? Will Jet2 be doing any work for them?

Fair point.
I could call my cat “Fido”, but it wouldn’t start barking and go and fetch my slippers, would it? 😉

How many aircraft do Jet2 base at Edinburgh now?
3 B733QCs.
FR’s Socttish base is in Glasgow, not enough demand in Scotland for two FR bases.
FR haven’t stated they want to start a base at EDI, simply increase their number of routes from there to include mainland Europe.
Glasgow has two international airports..
Glasgow International
Glasgow PrestwickFACT!

Prestwick is thirty-odd miles from Glasgow.
FACT!
30mins from the city centre, 10/15mins from suburbs, FACT!

Prestwick is thirty-odd miles from Glasgow.
It was an international airport hosting trans-atlantic flights long before the “Glasgow” was tagged onto it’s name.
FACT!

Glasgow INTERNATIONAL is in Paisley because the patetic “Scottish” Executive are always making Glasgow’s boundary smaller and Edinburghs bigger.

In the interest of accuracy Ryanair’s Scottish base is, in fact, at Prestwick on the beautiful Ayrshire coast.
Unless they’ve moved it, it’s 30-odd miles from Glasgow. 🙂
Also in the interest of accuracy, Glasgow Abbotsinch is
in Paisley, Renfrewshire. 😀

Indeed..still awaiting the long promised Easyjet routes. 😮
and FR expansion etc etc…. Often the reality is different from speculation you read in the press. We can hope…
Still, good to see more expansion from Jet2 but I’m sure GSM won’t be far behind in extending their PRG route into summer now…

Nice to see some expansion from EDI as Jet2 promised.
The flights are 5x weekly.
