Chaps – I have been scratching my head on this one all afternoon. So please can you suggest anything?
It is presumably German.
It is ca 2m long.
It would appear to be a wing leading or trailing edge – but compared to my other Luftwaffe Landing flaps is seriously short of ribs and the hinges look a little bit undersized (!)
It is not a landing flap from FW 190, Ju87, Yak3 or Me 109.

Thank you for the suggestions.
It doesnt fit with either Ju 88 or He111 undercarriage or bomb bay doors and we will have to wait for Goodwin Sands to release its Do17 to see if it fits there..
As it is dark green and presumably upper surface – what were the doors on the life raft compartment of large aircraft like ?

It looks like it is part of the skinningfrom the upper surface of a wing, immediately forward of the flap. (edit: forget that – no rivet holes along the upper edge….) No idea of type or country.
edit. I’d buy the bomb bay door idea. (Wing bay door?)

Could it be a bomb bay door? It looks of a similar flimsyness to an Anson or Battle.
