Appear to be Grenoble in France, Kaunas in Lithuania, and Lodz and Posnan in Poland. Havent got a clue where Lodz,Posnan and Kaunas are, but more good news for STN!
Now means that Ryanair serve Gdansk,Kaunas, Lodz,Posnan,Rzeszow, Szczecin,Bydgoszcz and Bratislava from STN in Eastern Europe. Im sure more airlines will be jumping on the bandwagon before long.

Lodz and Warsaw are very close together. Lody alos has a huge population one of the biggest cities in Europe but I am surprised that a 737 can operate there as it only has a tiny runway.
I’ve been doing a little research into Lodz (pronounced “wootch” apparently!) and Shamrock seems to be correct as it has a population of 1 million people and is about 80 miles southwest of Warsaw. Not really close enough (in my opinion) to feasibly make it a Warsaw Airport. I’d rather use Wizz or easyJet who fly to Warsaw proper.

There are plenty of people in the ‘unknown’ destinations that I’m sure would love Ryanair for opening them up. The reason most of them are uknown is because no-one else flies there, and with air travel constantly becoming more and more accessible it is about time someone did fly there. Now, they are within a couple of hours of London, one of the most popular capital cities in Europe. It would therefore seem that however unknown they are to us, it’s the people living there or people that have a specific reason to go there, that will be filling the planes up.

Why would they fly to them if they didnt work?
They are obviously not ‘unknown’ to the people that fly there.

Do these unknown destinations actually work for them?

I haven’t a clue where nine out of ten of Ryanair’s destinations are.

Also interesting to note the increased frequency on Derry, Seville, Granada, Riga and Tampere routes from STN. I guess they’re preparing for the next bulk of deliverys after Summer, since they were halted for a couple of months.
Have they resolved the runway issue there?

Good to see yet more announced, I wasn’t expecting anymore for the next few months. The STN route map continues to look more and more ridiculous!
