You five favourite liveries ever?

Here are mine:

JMC Air

Really cool blend of colours, and I thought the ‘AIR’ on the fuselage was a great touch. I like TCX’s livery but I miss JMC.

Britannia/Thomsonfly/Thomson Airways

I like the all sky blue and feel it’s a simple yet sleek, smart looking and overall effective livery.

Jet2 Holidays

At first I thought this was a bit tacky but I’ve grown to love it. Living near LBA the aircraft really stand out on the apron, as it’s a very eye-catching livery and looks good on a 737.

Delta Airlines (2000-2007)

I always felt that red and blue go well together, so I loved this livery. Not too keen on the new Delta livery, I feel it’s too bland and angular and aggressive looking, but this one was really cool looking.

First Choice Airways

Really pleasant to look at, and the magenta goes really well with the turquoise. Eye catching and stand-outish, but calm at the same time. Gonna miss these planes when they get the TOM paintjob.

Can that be claimed as being Jet2 Holidays’ livery given that it’s a copy of Allegiant’s?

I find your favourites a little tacky, but to each their own.

I personally feel the subtle elegance and sophistication of BA’s livery can’t be beat – but, I guess I’m bias? :p

Failing that, the historic red, white and blue stripes and polished aluminium of American Airlines is always a treat to see flying overhead 🙂
