Regarding the title of the recent article”Is the R.A.F. broken” hasnt there been some mistake? Should it not have read “Is the Royal Navy broken” {sub heading fixed wing flying in the}? Admittedly the R.A.F. has some problems but at least the new equipment promised to it is coming into actual existance. Unlike the most important parts of the navys re-equipment programe, the C.V.F.s, the aircraft to fly from them and the logistic support vessels to supply them at sea. {not to mention the people to crew these vessels}.Come on now, where is the support for the concept of naval air power in your magazine? The case is proven in favour of naval aviation. Why not support that case.
