Your best freeware add-on?

for the cheetah try www.fsfrance.com there are many French built aircraft on there as well as one of the best freeware concordes going. Althougth it doesnt have a panel yet, it soon will. Other gems include a scenery pack for Duxford that adds static warbirds.

I get all my free planes from simviation.com. For FS 2004 my favorites are a Cessna 182RG (retractable gear), Diamond HK36 (motorglider), ASH-25 (open class sailplane), Dash8 (Wideroe). The planes that I want that they dont have are the Folland Gnat, Su-29 and Su-31 (aerobatic planes). Planes I want that they do have but are not up to my standards are the SEPECAT Jaguar, MB-339, Bae Hawk, Cheetah.

I’ve got loads of freeware things, all to suit my various tastes, so it’s hard to pick a favourite.

I have the Ryanair Jaguar Boeing 737-200 and it flies like a dream, used for Stansted to Charleroi at the moment.

I have the Lord of the Rings Boeing 747-400 of Air New Zealand by Meljet, which took some tracking down.

I have a Belgian livery collection of 737-200s with several different Sabena, Sobelair and one TEA livery.

I have an An225.

I have the DH106 Comet (as opposed to the DH88 Comet which is on FS2004).

I have a wonderful CRJ of Air Nostrum, which can be a bit of a handful at times but is awesome to take off.

I have Fokker 50s of VLM and Air Nostrum.

I have a Dash 8 Q400.

I have a special livery MD80 which I will take a screenshot of because that is better than trying to describe it!

I have two beautiful SNBA aircraft – an A319 and a BAe 146.

I have an A310 of Lisbon Sun (new addition).

I have others which I have not mentioned but are all nice.

I got the JAL Meljet 777 today and am extremly impressed. Had to realais the sounds on download but other than that a superb model

And their v good on FS 2k4 aswell!

DG designs is an excellent developer and i already got the Hunter and Anson, still looking for the following that spring to mind

Beverly, Argosy, E3(old one doesnt work in FS9 properly) Nimrod(old one doesnt work)
Gazelle, Chinook ( plenty about just not in RAF colours for FS9) Belfast and Tucano( i have a brazilizn coloured one )

EDIT: DM designs is a good source and one i visit often for aircraft/updates

RAF oriented fleet? In that case you’ll need the Anson and Hunter from this guy as well: DG Designs, his creations can be downloaded from Avsim and Flightsim. I’ve also added another site for British airliners to my post above.

Thanks Archer i apreciate that updated some of my older models from there and an excellent site with some good links.

I am slowly building an RAF orientated fleet and scenery set and will have to spend some time looking through those links now.

Yeah i know but i was just looking for a decent model and as this one has some flaws it is now parked in ther hanger while i look for better. See the smoke trail ?

i got a 747-400 the other day from simviation uses default panel but still a good model. Unfortunatly everytime i take off i have to return with smoke eminating from the tail as a tail strike occurs without touching the ground and wont go away ! Also on touchdown inboard engines grounded out as well.
no reflection on my flying skills honest. Obviously the contact pionts need adjusting.
