Your Cheapest flight ever?

Hi guys.

Just wondering what your cheapest flight ever is (That you’ve paid for yourself!)

The other week, my friend alerted me to the fact that Ryanair had made a serious **** up on their website. You were supposed to book one flight and get another one free. In reality, you could enter any old booking confirmation and get a free flight!

So, this Friday, myself and a friend are having a day in Dublin drinking, departing from Leeds Bradford for….

£1.42 per person return (0.02 fare, 1.40 Debit Card Fee, 0.00 Taxes).

Can anyone beat this?

BA LHR-EWR-LHR in Economy for £42 all in! TWICE!

This was last year BA had an offer of £100 off any WT fare, then they also had a very good sale so a fare of £142 was possible, not bad, however, there was another discount code in a property magazine gave another £100 off and for about 6 hours all three offers worked together! So I booked two trips to New York, one after each other. BAs website soon realized it should only be giving one discount per booking but I still managed to get two trips out of it.

There was a better bargain at the time using the above offers meant that Club World (business class) was available for only £600, but £600 it still a lot of money to me so I passed. I bet I will never see long haul business class for that price again!

I can’t beat these, but I have a colleague who can (albeit they paid taxes). bmi made a blunder of some sort on their website, and advertised PREMIUM ECONOMY fares from MAN-ORD for….£0, so a colleague booked two tickets and they were honoured by bmi. Given that they were genuinely going to ORD anyway, then it was a complete fluke that they found this deal. So they had to pay taxes, but mile for mile, and quality wise I think they did really well!

I flew to Girona with Ryanair for around £20 return in December 2005 when they had that massive free sale, litrally you could go anywhere in the Ryanair network for any time period almost free. I don’t think they have had a sale like that since.

Cheapest Ever flight

Hi

Mine was March last year…albeit oneway..

Man-Bcn with Monarch total cost a massive 1pence!!!
They were running a “Find the Santa”competition on their website.
All you had to do was find a Santa and yourflight was 1p including all taxes and charges…they did’nt even charge a booking fee.

and return
Cheapest return I have ever done was when Bmibaby first started and flew from Ema to Nice.
Departed on a Monday and returned on the Wednesday after a couple of nights there with the Wife, took in Monaco and all the sites as well as a bit of spotting.;)
The cost wait for this…absolutely zero!! 😮 I kid you not, everything taxes credit card charge the lot was nothing….you had to submit your credit card details,it was even shown on my statement as 0, you had to be on the dot every morning at 6am trying the website as they only gave away a few thousand tickets on all their flights to celebrate the fact that they were going to fly from East Mids.
Flew on G-OJTW B737-300 Both Ways Excellent flight and trip!!

Regards
Glen.
NEXT FLIGHT
MAN-MAD- MAN 2/3 BA CONNECT FOR THE CUBANA IL96!!!
