Hi there,
I was searching for Flight Simulator downloads earlier and one of the results was a forum topic – “Your Favourite FS Route”.
Not a question I think has been asked on the forums, so what is your favourite route or what is the route you fly the most? What airline and aircraft do you fly?
I am using Microsoft FS98 and FS2000, I don’t think FS2002 could be handled by my tempremental system! For me, I fly short haul hops where it can be completed in 2 hours or less. For example, I flew London Gatwick to Palma de Mallorca yesterday with a Monarch Airlines A300 – turbulence all the way! :p
As for the most interesting route I’ve flown, that would have to be a Qantas 744 from London Heathrow to Sydney in real time – not once did I feel tempted to speed up the simulation. I took off at night, woke up in the morning, went off to school, come home, done nothing for a few hours and then landed. Of course, I had to have unlimited fuel switched on!

I used to be part of BA Virtual. I flew about 3 flights (regional, of course) and then got fed up with it. But if didn’t log a flight for a month or something, you were “sacked”. So, I had to forge a couple of entries in the log. They then introduced a more complex method of logging flights, so I just stopped and didn’t hand in my “Virtual Notice” – LOL! 😀

I fly on VATSIM, run a VA (Elation Airways) and own a professional scenery design company :-). Our first product will be out in June, priced only £4.99 (Blackpool Airport)!!!! 😀

hi all,
ah my passion.. flight simming, an addiction!!
Usually the sun runs – Caneries, Balerics, Spain, Greece for me, although on one giddy day i did do the Seyshells, and Narita about 3 years bak. My total hours currently amount to around 1,250. Shortly to fly LEBL-EGNM.
Does anyone else on here use VATSIM? Anyone fly for a VA?
For those who don’t know VATSIM is the Virtual Air Trafiic SIMulation network, basically a huge m/p game with other traffic and ATC. I’ve seen 600 a/c + ATC be online before with no events been held
Sabb, have you tried Aurigny VA? – based on the RW ops of Aurigny?
I’m currently staff with White Rose VA, www.whiteroseva.com who mirror the RW ops of bmi, jet2, Mytravel, Eastern and BY out of a Leeds/Bradford hub, which standardises our fleet to JS41, E145, B733, B752 and B762. Hopefully i can get some of you interested in either vatsim www.vatsim.net or a VA – its great!

DUB-SNN-LAX in an Aer Lingus A330 is my favourite. For short hops just a quick flight from Nice to Paris is pretty good especially across the Alps.

Search for IFDG 757. Superb visual model of it, however it uses the default 777 panel I think. If you want a good panel then buy Wilco’s PIC if you can. It’s a 767, but the panels are both the same.
As goes my favourite route thats a very difficult one. I’ve notched up some 400 hours flying time, so theres a lot to chose from, although I did participate in a very enjoyable flyin, with full ATC between LAX and SFO last night, my first flying experience in the USA online.

When I had FS2002 loaded my usual route was from RAF Brize Norton out here to RAF Akrotiri using either a RAF VC10, Tristar or more recently a C17.
I dont have it installed at the moment cos I’m into CFS2 on the web in Game Zone bigtime
And no, I’m not in the forces, I just happen to like theose planes !

I like taking the B777 for a spin from Stansted – barcelona.
Still looking for an addon for the B757, still cant find one that has being made for FS2002.
But I will not play until Friday, that is hopefully my last exam, as long as I do not have to re-sit any. I have jsut come out of one barely 60 minutes ago and it was very demanding.
