It’s very interesting. I deliberately put in the title of this thread your favourite sci fi ‘CRAFT’ but so far everyone has gone for flying craft. Perhaps it’s because of the environment we are in (if I’d put the same thread on a Top Gear forum it would all be road bound CRAFT) or perhaps you mis-read the title. Anyway, it’s all good stuff so keep them coming.

For me? ‘Heart of Gold’ (HHGTTG)
Stingray (use to have a model of this that I use to play with in the bath)
Any vehicle, land or air, from Captain Scarlet.
Plus some others that I have forgotten but I’m sure will come up soon.

Mr. Spoon’s space rocket from 1970s/80s kids epic, Button Moon. That, the Millenium Falcon and the Klingon Bird of Prey from the Kirk era films… The Aliens Drop Ship was pretty cool too

I also liked the Liberator from Blake’s Seven. (Showing my age! :o)

(Other favourites already mentioned, the Nostromo, and the Eagles from Space 1999.)

I’m a big fan of Babylon 5. For me the Earth Alliance Starfury fighter and the Earth Alliance Omega class destroyer (best known for the EAS Agamemnon) just look most convincing as space craft.

edited to add: do semi-organic crafts count? The Shadow battle crab are seriously cool. In Top Gear terms they would go in the DB9 freezer! 😉

Thunderbird Two from Flygirl is a good call as well….. it was always my favourite (with the Mole!)

If it is the stuff of your “wet dreams” surely a Wiper would be more appropriate?……

Since I first saw them aged about 10 the Viper from Battlestar Galactica has been the stuff of my wet dreams! :p
