dark light

Your name is BlueRobin and I claim my 57p!

So, permit arrives Wednesday, Whiz about a bit on Friday on a windy day, whiz about a bit more today as insturctor makes me work my bits off as I haven’t flown properly in nine months (HOW many practice forced landings/EFATO?)

Then, at about 16:15 he decided he had had enough and made me do it on my own.

Could be, when is it? I shall be in Jersey for the show there and might not be back for the weekend of 17/18.

Have to go to Devon on Saturday for my nephew’s stag do. Would love to make Duxford though but that’ll be later.

Shame about your annual. Why do they take all year?

Bah no fair, mine’s in for an annual (but do have FI situation tentatively sorted) 😡 😡 😡

Come to Duxford this Saturday with Moggy, me and chums and I’ll cough up. Might even stand you a meal.

Well done!!! 🙂

Jolly good show. There is a Rearwin advertised in the PFA mag. It is a 175 of 1940 vintage. Has it much in common with yours, Melvyn, apart from being red (ish)? Obviously it has an inline engine, but is very cheap at £15K, whereas I seem to remember you saying yours had cost….well, rather more!

Quite a bit smaller than mine but a nice aeroplane and very good value if it is up together (and I gather it is well looked after).

There are two Skyrangers on the register and Ashey Bourne has the other one and is currently recovering it. He likes it and says it flies well.

If I had £15K I would be very tempted.

Well done you old tart.
I’d like to say that you’ve achieved something unique and wonderful.
However, that’d be against my nature so I won’t.

Why? You can’t change nature!

True, so true. But you shouldn’t give it away like that. You should try to be a little more discreet about it 😉 😀 😀
