Youthful Vintage Aviator

Congratulations to Adrian Parsons, who just a month after qualifying for his PPL, yesterday got his Luton Minor off the ground for his first solo on type (not much alternative in a single seater!).

At just 19 years old, surely he’s got to be the youngest owner/flyer of a vintage-type aeroplane in the UK?

I gather he’s discovered he can do Red Indian-style war whoops in an open cockpit, without anyone else hearing him!! 😉

Well done ADP…. and ‘SXJ !! 😀

I gather Adrian carried out his tailwheel conversion on Enstone’s Super Cub.

In record time given the past months’s weather!

Nope, starting on Diamond DA20s then came across to Wellesbourne to conitue on Robin 200s.

Did Adrian do the tailwheel signoff on NSF’s Cub first?
