Danjama, the DVD is available towards the bottom of this web page http://www.flyingmachinestv.co.uk/DVD%20Store/DVDStore.html. I bought a copy a few years ago, you’ll love it.

Great stuff, never knew of this website, quite a variation in prices there (depending on how recent, by the looks of things) but the relevant one is very cheap, and will probably pick it up soon, as well as ‘From The Pilots Seat’ and ‘Legends In The Air’.

A collection of very nice videos Mauld. I think you’re totally enthusiastic, quality selective, and (may I suggest) a touch naive in you selections. Selecting the best footage available is bound to raise copyright issues.

So I wish you all the best with your channel (although it would have been nice to mention Egghead in the Red Arrows 8 Ship display narrative). But be ready for more copyright holders (who get up very early to shoot this footage) with barely supressed steam coming out of their ears to say ‘hello’.

I’ve had my fingers burnt recently by posting material, but have put them in water, learnt, and moved on. Good luck, and keep smiling!

Now I am definitely interested in the discussed ‘109’ clip! And yes, I would have been interested in any DVD…

Great channel anyways, thanks for maintaining/running it.

Could it be used in a positive note as a good bit of free advertising.
Credit it to you and your company with a link to the shop.
I have seen many of your clips on you tube and other sites and posted on forums where comments have been very positive and maybe even copies purchased because of it.
I know it’s not nice to be ripped off but if an agreement can be reached for the purpose of the bigger picture that can be of benefit.. just trying to put another angle on things.

I wasn’t ripping him off as no income was being generated from the clip. I would have given him credit if I had known who the clip belong to, in the same way I have credited Manfred Poznanski. This was an anonymous clip I found on the internet and it fitted in with what my channel was about at the time which was WW2 aircraft in colour. I have moved away from that theme to cover a wider area of interest. I have removed the clip and I apologise for any offence caused.

Oddly enough YouTube clips very rarely help sales, when I put clips online they get many thousands of views, but very few sales directly from it.

I have known people rip my clips and cut out the watermark and then present it with their own copyright watermark!

You’ll need to remove the footage you have illegally ripped from my Messerschmitt 109 DVD ASAP please.

YouTube does allow you to use a much wider variety of music now, even commercial tracks, providing it’s on their list.

You need to be careful when doing that, you are only entitled to put footage up that you own or you know is copyright free.

Thanks for the advice, even when I use Public Domain music it is claimed by some media company a dispute usually sorts it but not always.

I think someone else illegally ripped it from your DVD, I ripped it from the Internet four years ago. It has now been removed. Are you also claiming the one credited to Manfred Poznanski perhaps he ripped that one from you, I wouldn’t know as I haven’t seen any of you DVD’s. Some of my videos have been taken form youtube and then uploaded back to youtube again which I think is quite a bizaar thing to do.
