There is/was a large quantity (6+ ?) in store within Sopley Camp not far from Hurn.

Is there any information on the 6+ Kragujs at Sopley Camp nr Hurn, also I heard a report of a fuselarge only of a kraguj stored somewhere in the UK any information or photos?.

Flight manual: http://www.avijacijabezgranica.com/Tehnika/vtupj20/index.html

Quite a few years ago this aircraft turned up at Shuttleworth for a show in company with a very nice Stearman, after the show had ended I helped to picket them down and the pilot showed me what the ammo storage was used for now, eight cans of lager a side, now thats a great idea, how much could we get in the aux tank on the Lizzie? 🙂

IIRC the D-Day Museum at Shoreham used to have one on static display but it was sold on following the auction after the Museum closed – anyone know where it went?

Further – in this month’s Aeroplane, Melve’s ‘Flying Visit’ section, there is mention of it being the pilot’s worst ever type…they fly like a bungalow apparently.

There are some advertised for sale in the back of ‘Pilot’ Magazine.
Complete with gunsights, rocket rails and machine guns, apparently!

There used to be one at Liverpool, and I still feel a little smug at having recognised it at first sight.

Try this for those current in the UK:

http://www.caa.co.uk/application.aspx?categoryid=60&pagetype=65&applicationid=1&mode=summary&aircrafttype=Kraguj

and this for pictures:
