Hi,
Just got back today from Zakynthos on TCX401L to London Gatwick on B757-200 G-FCLC. Had a great time with some great viewsof aircraft even from the hotel! I have a few to share with you so I will split them over two posts if thats easier.
1. At the viewing area saw this Excel 757 with an Iclandic registration pushing back.
2. The new passenger bridge, too quite when i wasthere to see anything go under.
3. One of my first sites when I got to the beach the day after we arrived.
4. Followed by something of a surprise for me. Sun was great that day.
5. The british charter airlines dominated especially on the Sunday as it was busy.
6. Not painted in full colours.

LOL, yeah, and with two flights come in at the same time the single baggage reclaim belt gets a bit crowded!!

Yeah, According to a guide we had on an Island trip that was supposed to be handed over this month, but it looks like they have a while to go yet. It was still empty inside from what I could see, but looks as if it will give the needed capacity for passengers!

Yes, all that are in the air are, I have some from the balcony and from the front door of the room but with my little bit of zoom they are not that great.

The airport is never calm no, one plane load full and its chocker!
Surprises me about MyTravel, I thought just about all their fleet was painted now, which day was German day? I cant remember which one it was, remember all the Hapag Lloyds etc, you certianly get good stuff at ZTH sometimes, just not all that often!

Thursdays are quite busy as well, few airlines I missed with decent pics, Mytravel (out of about 5 I saw only 1 was painted fully), Swiss, Novair, Martinair, LTU, Excel and Travel Service and Monarch.
Do you go down to the beach when there?

I will be there for two Sundays this year, only flew out and in last year on a Sunday, cant wait 🙂
Even better is the fact I wont be flying in on a Sunday this year, hope the airports a bit calmer on a Monday 🙂
Love the one of G-OOOG, glad to see its still flying to ZTH occasionally, as I flew on it last year, hope I see that SCY MD80 there!
