Zero T-6 replicas?

I renember when i was a “kiddy” that there used to be a T-6 Zero replica at Duxford, i know this example went to New Zealand, but my question is, is there any others in Europe? A zero would would great to see against a Spit V111! Is there one at north weald?

I am not aware of any others airworthy within Europe. The T6 which was operated by OFMC at Duxford was initially imported through The Squadron at North Weald before ending up with OFMC. There was also another pretty rough Zero film mock up which was with Aces High which has since moved on for restoration as a T6. I believe that there was one other T6 in the UK also mocked up for filming of Empire Of The Sun which was under restoration, however I’m not sure how far this has got.

I wonder these days whether the CAA would allow a Zero replica to fly over here as their regulations are a lot tighter than they were some years ago, or if they would insist on engineering drawings, stress calculations etc for the conversion.
