Thank you very much for your replies. I’m allways trying to get the most out of the photos I take. The gear I have is a good old Canon 50D with a Canon EFS/IS 17-85 for taking photos such as 14 and 15. But most of the time I use my black stallion the Sigma 50-500MM APO/HSM. I’ve chosen this one above the Canon 100-400 because I like to make all kind of photos and I don’t like to be limited and begin at 100mm.
I do a lot of research at photo locations before travelling to the airports themself. This can be done via google maps/google and some different forums. You can also use this: http://www.scramble.nl/airports/index.html
I found out it’s very usefull and most of the time it’s well explained.
Again thanks for the replies, I will post Innsbruck and Munich this weekend.

Hello Maikel,
Your pics are one of my favorites:cool:, but if possible could you informed us which type of lenses you use, techniques and perhaps where on the airport you shot your beautyfull pics?? Me and my son are absolute beginners so we can learn much of more experienced photographers like you.
Cheers and looking forward to see more of your shots
