Looks like a re-clear flight plan.
With a re-clear flightplan, if your fuel on board at a certain point is above the amount required on the flightplan to reach CDG, you can continue on to your ultimate destination. In this case CDG. The crew can re-clear themselves to CDG with ATC enroute. If the fuel is below the amount required to reach CDG on a re-clear flightplan, then you go to the airport that your flight plan is filed to for a quick gas n go.
Given the destinations and dates invovled, it would probably have cost BMI more to run the flights than they would have made on bookings – therefore they would have made a loss on these flights.
1st pic is of a very rare aircraft – Iranian Air Force Boeing 707 Tanker.
When the crew went to collect MSJF they were meant to depart KBFI on the monday, but, for whatever reason, they never left till friday.
Crew always go to Boeing in advance of the scheduled delivery date to carry out customer acceptance flights.
2 mins from upload to acceptance. 🙂
Wish all uploads were that quick.
Someone got some dirt on a screener at JP??:diablo: fastest screening ever for that lol.:D
Lookie here.
Further to Fred’s exposure question:
What is the best method for focussing through the fence at night?
Using a 100% common design would probably save some more money.
Bring on the Navalised Typhoon.
Thanks.
Peter, I didn’t realise the rarity of that shot. 🙂
Need to find time to edit some more from that afternoon – MON A330 divert from MAN being one.
I primarily shoot military aircraft.

There is a UAS based at GLA. The Tutors are kept in the green hanger at the business aviation parking area.
Very nice. Where abouts are the straight down the runway shots taken from?
A lot depends on your budget. For around £1000 you could get the following set up:
Canon EOS350D ( 8 million pixels )
and a
Canon 70-200 F4L Lens.
This would be a pretty good combo. I got my 350D in a package deal that had the EF-S 18-55mm lens and the EF 75-300mm F4-5.6 III non USM lens with it. In hindsight, buying the body and getting the 70-200 F4L lens to go with it would have been a better combo than getting the package deal from Dixons. I’ve found that I’ve missed some shots because of my lens being slow to Autofocus.
Hi Dean,
The histogram for the shot is nearly fully to the right. I had a few shots that turned out bleached, but I’m not too bothered as I am trying to learn how to use the manual modes of the camera and become a more proficient photographer. Thanks for the tip about the exposure indicator.

Not AFAIK. As I said the proving flight needs to be done first.
