    Care to elaborate ?

Not in any great detail. The problems are not 100% associated with the tow bar.

As far as I’m aware Balkan are dropping the 154’s at the end of this season (if it hasn’t happened already?)

Hopefully, but if they don’t then there is a very very high probability that it will be banned from GLA. The thing is becoming too much of a pain every time it is in.

Thanks – I have some 1/200 scale Wooster models, but the quality of your 757 looks a lot better than those.

Is the 1/200 scale Air 2000 757 Die Cast or Plastic?

This is probably more to do with helicopters than fixed wing aircraft.

Also, nice of the BBC to show where that building (MI6 HQ) that no one’s meant to know about is.

Interesting photo of the TU154, B727 & Trident all parked next to each other.
The last 727 at GLA was earlier this year, a biz jet version with the Rapper 50 cent.
Possibly the last TU154 flight into GLA by BAlkan was on the 17th Oct this year.
Be interesting to see if it’s allowed back in next year – this year was suppossed to be an all A320 operation for Balkan.

The other thing I forgot was the bumper below the rear fuselage on the -400. This is there to protect the rest of the rear fuselage in the event of a tail strike.

Nice Pics. Looks like the RAF Beech Trainer got a nice bit of X-Wind.
Don’t be confused about the LH 73. It’s definitely a -300. If you look at the Overwing exits there is only 1 – on the -400 there are 2. HTH.

So they could return the stored Tristars to service to fulfill their commintments to the US military. CO & America West are both trying to source RR powered 757’s – might be an opportunity.
